Certification
Certification Process
A structured pathway for clinicians ready to deepen their NeuroTriad Model practice through advanced training, consultation, case application, assessment, and demonstrated clinical skill.
How certification unfolds
The NeuroTriad certification process reflects a high standard of clinical competence, ethical integrity, and neuroscience-informed care, guiding practitioners from foundational training through consultation, case documentation, assessment, skills review, and ongoing professional development.
01
Complete required training
Attend all required NeuroTriad Model training hours through an intensive week, multi-weekend cohort, or blended online format. Each module builds foundational knowledge and applied skill through lecture, demonstration, and live practice in trauma-informed, neuroscience-integrated care.
02
Attend 5 consultations
Participate in five live Truitt Institute-led consultation groups with senior faculty. These small-group sessions support clinical integration, protocol refinement, real-time feedback, and growing confidence in ethical application.
Certification is not only about completing coursework. It is about demonstrating ethical, attuned, brain-aligned, trauma-informed application with clarity, consistency, and real-world clinical readiness.
03
Complete case studies
Complete written case studies documenting typically 30 practice sessions using the NeuroTriad Tracking Sheet. Each submission highlights clinical decision-making, protocol use, client response, and reflective learning, with faculty feedback to strengthen reasoning and ethical use.
04
Pass assessment and video review
Pass the knowledge assessment on foundational theory, neuroscience principles, and protocol steps, then demonstrate clinical skill through typically two video recordings reviewed by faculty for ethical, attuned, and competent delivery.
